Dear colleagues Members and Collaborators of Group 21Plus:

This it is a First 2006 General Report of the status and the present situation of Group 21Plus.

I have already sent several emails in english language about our next Second International Encounter to be celebrated in Kingston, Jamaica on the month of April of NEXT 2007. So I am actually emailing again in two languages:
Spanish and English the mentioned information.

Our Colleague and good friend the artist Basil Watson already is visiting his homeland of Jamaica in the occasion of preparing the prior conditions so that we can celebrate there our Second International Encounter.
It is very important that all of us email to him (as well to me) to confirm our participation in such event in which we will celebrate our Annual Art Exhibition. We are also glided to organize workshops with Artists and art students as well to strenghtening our cultural ties with the artists of Jamaica, for which it will be necessary that everyone prepares his/her portfolios, videos and digital material.

The exchange is pluridimensional there We are going to establish the terms of the Third Encounter in 2008 as well knowing about different Projects from our members like the Global Echo Art, the Complex Art and the Dimensionalismo among others. Also and by being poliangular each artist will connect his/her own national or intergroup interchanges with those who he/she considers opportune and of mutual benefit.

In that sense we have to say that the First Encounter we celebrated past January 2006 in Madrid, Spain was very successful because already our artists Members as much as our Collaborators, such is the case of Martin Rojas from Mexico and our colleagues from Madrid Joan Lluis Montane and Francisca Blazquez as well Basil with Mexico and Madrid, and even myself planning to go to Paraguay to paint a Mural for Peace, we are initiating our own Art Exhibitions and exchanges as part of the enormous umbrella of our creative activity.
Then the results of working together in this our Cultural Block called by us Group 21 Plus are giving positive results..
Besides of the diffusion coverage, spanish media promotion and interchanges already obtained in Madrid for example.

Also the group has grown in comparison with the initial membership of 2004, and we already count on the presence of new Members and Collaborators.
Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico and Japan are actually present with artists of enormous artistic and professional level, and we are actually arriving to our new Membership number of 28 countries represented in our organization.

As we are one Organization of artists CREATED BY AND FOR ARTISTS our Status is not Bureaucratic, neither a kind of a well structured political Party machine ..
Our organization and participation is free, sovereign, autonomous and independent.
All the Members enjoy permanent Statute of Membership because our nature is Inclusive.
Our Golden Rule is
'We are members of 21Plus until the day of our death'.
We enjoy the Privilege and the Responsibility of Life Statute.

The General Coordination and the Directory therefore would grow but they are of Correspondence for life.

However we count on different levels of Membership and these are:
1- Old Members from Changchun 2004.
2- First Generation or New Members
3- Consecutive members..a Second Generation, Third etc.
4- Collaborators: Collaborating group of artists, writers and poets, art critics, sociologists, psicologists and antropologists.

Within this concept of Members and Collaborator there are two levels of participation:
1-Active Members and Collaborators: Always operating and creative.
2-Passive Members and Collaborators: Expectant/Non Active Voices

The Invitation to be Member or Collaborator always will be determined by the Members.

Also our Founder and chairman coordinator, in conjuction of a friendly debate with the artist members pioneering in Madrid, decided to choose a Pioneering Directory which will command the destinies of our 21 Group Plus..
They are:

They are our people in charge and, generally speaking, they will coordinate the activities to be celebrated by Group 21 Plus:
-Deciding the Locations for new Encounters,
-To support activities of collaboration among all of us,
-To maintain informed all the members and collaborators into all concerning issues of the life of 21 Plus,
-To make possible our horizontal and vertical growth as well
-To settle down and to coordinate Cultural Interchanges with other groups and societies of artists.

SO IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT EACH MEMBER KEEPS RESPONSIBLE TO MAINTAIN HIS/HER PARTICIPATION IN ACTIVE-DUTY.
IF A MEMBER CANNOT ATTEND AN ENCOUNTER HE OR SHE ALWAYS WILL BE ABLE TO SEND HIS/HER ARTWORK FOR THE ANNUAL EXHIBITION.
